Our Stash

One of the most commonly asked questions I get is people asking me what kind of diapers we use personally. So, I thought I’d at least give you a list. Please take into consideration that our stash is always evolving. Much less lately, but it still might be different if you ask me next week! I change my diaper loves depending on my mood(and usually depending how much work I’m willing to put into keeping them clean), so I like to have a variety from which to choose.

The evolution of our cloth diapering has been all over the board in the 2-ish years that we’ve been playing this game. I’ve definitely become more and more decidedly utilitarian as the days keep rolling.  We still have a lot of variety and a bunch of things that we just have one or two of because I like to try things to be able to answer questions, but on the whole we’ve definitely changed what we have a ton over time!

Our list of what gets used…

-Flats. Oh how I love flats.

-Prefolds - Infant and Regular. We’re at the point where Nicholas can wear the regular size if we don’t mind the bulk, but the infant size are so great as stuffing for a pocket diaper, trifolding into a cover or gDiaper cover, burp cloths…the list goes on.  So, even though they’re really too small, the infant size still gets very well used around here.

-Fitteds: Mother Ease One Size (bamboo), a few Goodmamas for nighttime or coverless days, a few random Boho Chic for the cute prints

-Covers: Thirsties – Mediums and Size 2 Duos, Blueberry Coveralls, Sustainablebabyish wool, LuxeBaby wool

-Pockets: bumGenius 3.0, Rumparooz G2, Fuzzi Bunz Perfect Size, Blueberry One Size Deluxe

-Other: gDiapers little gPants. Love these for when we go out! We’ve been composting the wet inserts with great success this summer, so I feel less guilty about using a “disposble” insert and it’s a lot easier on the plumbing to not flush.
