Happy Anniversary to US (and CELEBRATION CONTEST #1 – win a Thirsties cover)!
Stay tuned this month for lots of fun discounts, sales and contests to celebrate our one year anniversary. WOW time flies when you’re starting a new business… moving across the country…having a new baby…buying and moving into your first house!!! It’s been an absolutely fantastic year around here and I can’t wait to share the joy with some fun for all of our wonderful customers!
CONTEST #1: What kind of contests would you like to see??
-Leave a comment here in the comments section. The sky’s the limit and I’d love to do some things that you all think would be beneficial!
-The people who suggest the ideas that I choose will all win 1 Thirsties Sized Cover in your choice of size and color combo!

1. Awesome ideas everyone!!! You re ll way more creative than I and I can’t wait to use some of these ides:)
2. I think I should have specified a bit more that each entry needs to be unique – otherwise if I get 100 million dittos, I’m going to have to go out of business to follow up with the prize – lol;) Maybe if you have a similar idea or like someone else’s, you could offer a variation of it? Just an idea because I want to be here for you guys to buy from rather than in the hole and bankrupt!!

You could have us do a hunt for things on your website, or on manufacturer’s websites. Maybe send us to educational websites so that we have to learn something about cloth diapering or the environment to continue! Just an idea…

I would love to see a photo contest of babies in their modern diapers fluff! It is so helpful to see the different sizes and types of diapers that work for other people.

stash pic contests! You could have prizes for biggest stash, most varied stash, most colorful stash, most creative stash storage, etc.

Its quite funny that I have started a new business, bought my first home and am due to have my first baby 3 days ago! I am glad I am not the only one who thought this was a good idea! Good luck with your new ventures.
I think having your customers write reviews of the product and then choosing your favourites would be a great contest, User driver content is always excellent.
I also love the photo idea previously submitted and would like to add photos of diapers drying on the line to the suggestions.

PHOTO CONTEST!! a photo contest would be awesome! We could submit shots of our precious angels wearing Modern Diapers items. You could even theme the contests and say “Please submit photos of your baby outside wearing her cloth diapers” or “photos of baby eating, etc.”

A contest which mom’s who are pregnant and planning on cloth diapering can participate in! There are so many contests out there that require a review of a product, or a picture of your child in a cloth diaper…..but soon-to-be-moms can’t participate because we haven’t had the chance to try out our cloth diapers yet or have a child to take a picture of one in a cloth diaper! It’d be a great way for a soon-to-be-mom to build her stash.

I love all the other suggestions… What about a contest for best CD story? Most of us have some funny experiences/comments from other people/funny things that happened when DH got ahold of prefolds/etc from using CDs.
Or, a contest related to other good environmental changes we’re making?

That is a very good point the PP made about future moms not being able to send in baby photos (or even having a stash if they are doing a trial and don’t have much built up yet). Maybe a photo contest of stuffed animals in fluff would be fun for everyone.
